We sing what’s up in Estonia today with melodies that we sometimes write ourselves and sometimes recycle from the treasury of traditional music.

Something old, something brand-new
Something borrowed, something recycled
Something forgotten, something poetic and blue
Something green, that makes you grow, think, and feel!

We write songs meeting up in each other’s kitchens. We first talk about hot topics and end up putting our conclusions into lyrics. This is how we already have written more than 50 songs together and published four CDs, now working on our fifth!

Topics can be anything from what a mother of three thinks upon at night, when she has gone to bed and tries to forget all small duties and hurries and fall asleep… What is a mother’s life filled with, and what is a father’s life filled with…? We have also lifted the ongoing war in Ukraine, starting with tears in our eyes ending up putting up all absurd details that have reached us into singing. We can also talk about how to keep love, tenderness and passion in life and end up singing it all through a tango! We love going on psychological hikes in Estonian history, also when the ground is rather impassable. Once we fictionally followed a couple of young women, our relatives, who were deported to Russia during World War II. We thought about how it is to be forced away from home in your most beautiful years in life and how it was to survive in the great cold prison of Siberia.

Our performances are mixes of storytelling and singing. We don’t only talk about the songs themselves, but also the background and stories connected to the topics, anecdotes, memories, well, you name it! We always focus on the contact with the audience. We are never afraid of combining important topics with jokes. We are
convinced that laughter is a sign that people understand. Humor, sometimes dark, helps to handle the most difficult angles of life.  We have inspired people to rethink our basic roles in life and lead life in a direction, where your heart sings and your soul is proud and free.

All through music.
